With the years of hands on experience and knowledge, backed with tried and tested specifications laid down over years, and supported with patterns and tools to make the spares that will bring the original unit back to life. Everything from the original unit, refurbished, with new pressure plates, release plates, coil springs and levers as needed, or requested, to the design of something to fit the bill.

Engineering is a skill that is taken for granted as being done outside the UK. But this team ACTUALLY make clutches in England!

Tucked away in Cleckheaton, famous as the original home of Mintex, the facing people, Truckfix make clutches, flywheels and facings for all commercial, truck, PSV, crane, and vintage vehicles.

Following the closure of the Raybestoes factory in England, and after subsequent owners also failed to make it work, the TRUCKFIX team took the view that buying the business would ensure our ability to continue with the one off specials, whilst the core business of supplying the factors and big fleets is uninterrupted.

Everything from the original AP Borg and Beck style units, both 3 and 4 levers with coil springs, twin plate Lipe type and Dana style 13, 14, 15 and 15.5” units with conventional organic and ceramic 4 and 6 paddle plates, Fodens, Leylands, AEC, Scammells and many more.

Work undertaken includes Morris 1920 flatbed cork plates, fitted to run in oil immersed conditions, Bristol coaches, Leyland Leopards, Beavers, Hippos and 680s. Fodens angle and straight line lever covers with ceramic and organic plates, Commer vans, Scammell Highwayman, Atkins, ERF and AECs including Regent 5 buses and AV505’s!
